some river pictures....

this past weekend was extremely grand.  paddled about 27 miles on a river in a double kayak with my brother and 5 others.

we had a lot of fun... we found that we all love playing with fire.  a raccoon was our friend for a while and stole the rest of Sean's pretzels. Dan made a wooden swing.  The outdoor plumbing was something else, that's for sure.

it rained some on friday night. Saturday was a beautiful day.  We even made camp early and had time to swim and dry out our wet gear. 

.

although it was fun..it is good to be home.

best things about morning runs

God's handiwork in creation is my favorite part of morning runs.  I love the colors in the sky when the sunrises. The real reason why i run with my camera is because I need to get a picture of my bear on a morning run.  The days I leave my camera at home are the days when I see a glimpse of the black bear on lake louise road.  I'm still not a fan of my alarm clock, some things will never change, but the best part of early a.m. runs is running when its still quiet out in God's beautiful creation
